FIFA 22 Trading Vocabulary is something every player will need to understand. URFUT.com is going to start with basic terms that most players will already be familiar with.
sbc-fodder unusable cards that are mainly used for SBCs. They rise based on SBC content
LR = Lightning Round. EA usually drops these past Black Friday on Promo Fridays and sometimes Saturday and Sunday as well. Large amount of packs that are being opened every hour (for example 50,000 100k packs)
SB = Squad Battles
WL = Weekend League
TOTW or IF = Team of the Week/Inform
RB = Rulebreaker/Record Breaker
OTW = Ones to Watch; card that gets upgraded based on IRL performances. If a player recieves a TOTW card, the OTW will upgrade to the same Rating
RTTF = Road to the Final; card that gets upgraded based on team UCL/UEL performance.
team makes it out of group stage = +1 Inform upgrade
team wins first leg of round of 16 = +1 Inform upgrade
team advances to quarter final = +1 Inform upgrade
team advances to semi final = +1 Inform upgrade
team advances to final = +1 Inform upgrade
team wins UCL/UEL = +1 Inform upgrade
TOTGS = Team of the group stage
this is not a live card (does not get upgraded)
HL = Headliner
TOTY = Team of the Year
FS = Future Star
WI = What IF
FB = FUT Birthday
TOTS = Team of the Season
ROI = Return of Investment
PaT = Profit after tax
PR = Price range; usually 600-10,000 on rare golds = min and max price you can sell for
Discard value/short: discard = price that the card also discards for = usually min price of the price range or close to
Mass list = listing all cards at the same time for around the same price
BIN = Buy it now = price the card currently sells for (after a few minutes)
extinct = card is not on the market; usually the PR is too low
snipe = searching for listings under lowest BIN with the goal to get a deal or in general searching for a extinct card on the market
undercut = listing a card under lowest BIN with the goal to sell it quickly; on rare cards this can cause a dip in price
lazy buyer = people who don't search for the lowest BIN; they simply buy the first card they sell on the market; they buy cards that are about to expire (<5 minutes left)
listing for lazies/lazy listing = listing your cards overpriced in the hope that lazy buyers buy them; a good method to get some extra profit on a investment (avoid listing for max price range)
oop = out of packs; a card goes oop when it is replaced with a different version. this can have multiple reasons (e.g. gold card goes oop because the player gets a TOTW that week)
club stock = buying one of each player of a group/list and putting them into your club; usually a long term investment
OTW trading is depending on your willingness to take risks and how you manage the risk. There is nothing wrong in buying players after they didn't perform and selling them on matchday in front of the starting squad announcement to gain little profits. The big profits will come from gambling but that is as well a part of trading.

Anyway, I can't wait to hear more about the partnership between EA Sports and Lega Serie A. As we talked about the Lega Serie A License, we have to mention some new things about the one of UEFA Europa Conference League & AS Monaco.
In FIFA 22, we now have the ability to create our own team in Manager Career, which is something a lot of us have been passionately requesting over the years. We will be able to create new clubs and customize their kits, crests, stadiums, and many more. That's a good step by EA Sports.
